After guiding Shabana to win the National Super League last season and end their 17 years of playing in the lower leagues, Shabana coach Sammy Okoth has hinted that he may exit the team after a difficult start in the Football Kenya Federation Premier League.

“I’m shocked we again conceded in the final stages of the match. As a coach, it is very tough, and you are left wondering what else you can introduce to the team,” lamented Okoth on Saturday after their 1-0 loss to Kariobangi Sharks at Raila Odinga Stadium in Homa Bay.

“I feel very uncomfortable. There is nothing more that I can change in the team, so maybe someone else should come and try,”he added.

In the three other matches that they have played, Shabana registered identical 1-1 draws with Police and Talanta and lost 1-0 to Murang’a Seal.
