Retired managers Alex Ferguson and Arsene Wenger were inducted into the Premier League Hall of Fame on Wednesday evening.
After leading Manchester United to 13 championships before his retirement in 2013, Ferguson is the most successful manager in the history of the tournament. Between 1996 and 2018, Wenger won the league three times with Arsenal, finishing undefeated in the 2003–04 campaign.
Former Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson said in a press release that “it’s an honor when you receive recognition like this.” “However, it’s not just about me as a person. “It’s about the job at Manchester United and the bond we had over many years, so I’m also proud of the club, the staff, and my players.” He said.
Former Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger was also happy to be inducted into the Hall of Fame. “I’d like to be known as someone who loved Arsenal, respected the values of the club, and left it in a position where it can grow and become even bigger.” He said.
