Manchester United suffered another defeat as they lost 1-0 to Tottenham Hotspur as Ange Postecoglou takes a dig at Amorim.

Ruben Amorim’s side went into the game suffering from many injuries to key players as they were without Amad Diallo, Kobbie Maino, Lisandro Martinez, and Manuel Ugarte. The players are expected to miss extended time on the sidelines. Spurs had the best chances of the game early on as James Maddison opened the scoring after meeting an Onana rebound off Tel’s effort on goal. Alejandro Garnacho had a glorious chance to level things up for United, but his effort went over the post.In the second half, both sides tried to create more with United dominating the posession but they could not manage to score as Vicario made some crucial saves.The game finished 1-0 to Spurs as United dropped to 15th place in the standings.

Speaking after the game, Spurs manager Ange Postecoglou said he did not feel sorry for Amorim in an injury-hit squad. “Man United with many injured players? If I check my office, I don’t have any sympathy cards from other coaches.”. “I could see Rúben there, players out of position, kids on the bench… welcome to my world. But that’s for 1 game. Now do that for 2 months”.He said.
