English Premier League continues today as Spurs welcomes Newcastle United at White Hart lane. Both Spurs and Newcastle will be looking to bounce back from their midweek defeats when the pair square off at the Tottenham Stadium tonight.

Tottenham have failed to win any of their last 5 league games, picking up just one point in the process. The Magpies on the other hand were brought down to earth losing 3-0 to Everton.

The Lilywhites made unwanted Premier League history in a 2-1 home defeat to West Ham United on Thursday evening.

Thursday’s beating also marked the first time since September 2008 that Tottenham had lost three Premier League home games in a row.

The last five meetings between the two teams both teams have managed to get away with two wins while drawing the other match.

Spurs will be hoping their captain Son to be fit after receiving a knock during their defeat against West Ham.

The notable absentees from Spurs squad include Ivan Perisic, Manor Solomon, Ryan Sessegnon, James Maddison, Micky van de Ven, Rodrigo Bentancur, Ashley Phillips, Eric Dier and Alfie Whiteman.

On the other side Newcastle United will be without Sven Botman, Callum Wilson, Jacob Murphy, Dan Burn, Elliot Anderson, Joe Willock, Sean Longstaff, Harvey Barnes, Matt Targett and Javi Manquillo while Sandro Tonali remains suspended for the long-term.

This is expected to be tight clash considering both teams lost in middle of the week fixtures and a draw is the most likely outcome of the match.
