Barcelona manager Xavi Hernandez has slammed winger Ousmane Dembele.
Reports across the week have said that PSG have already agreed on a deal to sign France winger Ousmane Dembele. The former Dortmund winger is set to receive €20 million a season and will sign a five-year deal at the Parc des Princes.
Speaking after Barcelona’s win over AC Milan, Xavi slammed Dembele’s behaviour after refusing to stay at the club. “I am a bit disappointed, yes,” Xavi went on. “But he told us he already spoke with [PSG manager] Luis Enrique and with [PSG president] Nasser Al-Khelaifi, and there was no way to convince him, he said.
PSG have been on the market to sign new players amid controversy over Kylian Mbappe’s refusal to sign a new deal with the club and his not being included in the team’s preseason.
