FIFA President Gianni Infantino has congratulated Gor Mahia after the club secured the Kenya Premier League title, praising the champions for their consistency and hard work during the season. In a letter dated May 28 and addressed to FKF president Hussein Mohammed, the FIFA boss said the title was a result of the team’s sustained efforts and impressive results.
Infantino extended his greetings to the players, technical staff, management and everyone associated with the club, terming the achievement a major milestone. He also thanked the Football Kenya Federation for its continued commitment to the growth of football in Kenya.
The message comes just days before Gor Mahia’s coronation ceremony, which is set for Sunday at Nyayo Stadium. The event will officially crown K’Ogalo as league champions in front of their fans after another successful campaign.
