Bukayo Saka Wins The London Young Player Of the Year Award
Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka , was yesterday crowned the London young Men’s player of the year award during the 2023 London Football awards.
The 21-year-old player has been influential in Arsenal’s successful season with 10 goals and 9 assist in 27 matches for the North London side who are now on top the Premier League table.
According the youngster, it’s an honor to win the award for the second time.
“Thank you to the London Football Awards for awarding me Men’s Young Player of the Year. It’s an honour to win it for a second time and congratulations to all the other winners!” said the England player.
Among those feted include Arsenal coach Mikel Arteta, Martin Odegaard and goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale who won Manager of the Year, Player of the Year and Goalkeeper of the Year awards respectively.
In his acceptance speech, Arteta thanked colleagues, supporters, the club and everyone in football for the support and being part of the success in his stay at Arsenal.
