Liverpool manager Arne Slot has issued an update regarding Mo Salah after his exclusive interview during the weekend.
After their 3-3 draw with Leeds United on Saturday, the football world was shocked as Mohammed Salah decided to speak up after being left out of the starting eleven for the last 3 game weeks. Salah revealed that the club had thrown him under the bus amid a difficult spell. “It’s NOT acceptable to me, to be honest. I don’t know why it happens to me. We throw Mo under the bus… because he’s the problem. I don’t think I’m the problem,” he said.
Salah has now been left out of the travelling squad to face Inter Milan in the Champions League, and Arne Slot had a lot to say: “It is hard for me to tell who he is talking about [when he refers to being ‘thrown under the bus’]. It is difficult for me to know exactly what he means by it. We let him know he’s not travelling with us. That was the only communication from us to him,” he said.
