Mike origi okoth is a former Kenyan football maestro for the harambee stars. He initially started his football career as a goalkeeper but later he converted into a striker.

He played for various clubs in Kenya before moving to Belgium where he won the Belgium league with his club RKC genk.

He is the father to Divock Origi who opted to play for Belgium national team where he made history by becoming the youngest Belgium world cup goalscorer when he scored a goal against Russia in the 2014 world cup in Brazil.

He also single handedly helped Liverpool win the champions league by scoring the late minute decisive goal against Barcelona in 2019.

He also scored in the champions league final of 2019 as Liverpool won the UCL at the expense of victor wanyama’s Tottenham. Currently He plays for Nottingham forest.

Mike okoth is also the uncle to Arnold origi who is regarded as one of the best goalkeepers Kenya has ever had. Arnold origi and divock origi are cousins and not brothers as many had thought.
