Champions League’s ‘Group of Death’, AC Milan and Borussia Dortmund meet at San Siro on Tuesday night,with both sides aiming to build on wins last time out in Europe.

Dortmund top Group F on seven points following back-to-back victories over Newcastle United, while third-placed Milan sit just two points behind after defeating Paris Saint-Germain earlier this month.

After battling back from behind to beat Paris Saint-Germain earlier this month, when goals from Rafael Leao and Olivier Giroud secured maximum points, Milan know another victory at San Siro would leave them within touching distance of making the knockout phase in consecutive campaigns.

AC Milan Now set to host Borussia Dortmund in Europe’s top club tournament for the first time since a 1-0 defeat in the 2002-03 campaign, Milan have lost just one of their last 16 home games against German opponents in UEFA competition, winning 11 times in the process.

AC Milan will be without Ismael Bennacer,Mattia Caldara, Marco Pellegrino,Marco Sportiello,Noah Okafor,Pierre Kalulu,Rafael Leao and Simon Kjaer while Dortmund will be without Felix Nmecha,Julien Duranville Karim Adeyemy,Marcel Sabitzer,Nico Schlotterbeck,Niklas Sule and Sebastian Haller.

Another close-fought is set to unfold between two well-matched sides, following their tense goalless stalemate in October. Both clubs’ Group F fate may be decided on the final matchday following a low-scoring draw at San Siro.
