Alexis Mac Allister, the newly signed midfielder from Brighton &Hove Albion has been announced as Liverpool player and will wear number 10 jersey at Anfield-based club.
The announcement was made by the club today as they officially unveiled Alexis as their new player, and their first signing during the transfer window.
The signing of the World Cup winner is in line with Jurgen Klopp’s vision to rebuild and bolster his squad in readiness for the new season after missing to qualify for the Champions League in the just concluded 2022/2023 Premier League campaign.
Number 10 was formerly worn by Sadio Mane who left for Bayern Munich, Philippe Coutinho,( Aston Villa) Michael Owen (former Liverpool Player) and Steve McManaman. After the confirmation, Mac Allister has thanked Brighton & Hove Albion for his stay at the club and is now focused on the new challenge.
According to the Argentinian, the feeling is wonderful and amazing to be part of the Reds.
