Arsenal have decided to throw in big money in pursuit of Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder Moises Caicedo.

According to close sources within Emirates, Mikel Arteta side looks to strengthen their midfield options as Granit Xhaka’s departure to Bayer Leverkusen has now been confirmed. They are also hunting Declan Rice signature as part of their transfer targets to join the team this summer.

Moises was optimistic for a move to Emirates last season but was offered a new juicy deal by Roberto De Zerbi, and as at now, fresh reports emerge that he will leave the club for fresh challenges.

Chelsea have also shown interest in the Ecuadorian and remain their target this summer, though Arsenal have presented yet another offer for the player.

Despite reports, Caicedo has said that he has not reached any partial or full agreement with any club.

“I’m waiting for important updates once clubs will attack the situation” said the player.

Sources say Brighton want £70m-£80m for Moisés Caicedo, no more than that and are willing to engage in discussions with any potential bidder.
