Arsenal players celebrate scoring against Fulham

Arsenal continued their title pursuit with a comfortable 3-0 away win against Fulham on Sunday evening.

Arsenal produced one of the best displays of the season as they ran riot against Fulham. January signing from Brighton, Leandro Trossard, produced a fine first half display as he dished out three assists. Arsenal got the opening goal through a corner kick after Gabriel Magalhaes scored the header to open the scoring. Gabriel Martinelli then scored the second after a sweet buildup from Arsenal to double the advantage. Martin Odegaard then added the third before the halftime break after being teed up by Trossard to comfortably win the game.

In the second half, neither team created many chances, as the score remained 3-0. Arsenal were relieved as Gabriel Jesus returned from a long-term injury as he made his first appearance since the World Cup break.

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta was pleased to welcome Gabriel Jesus back. “His presence, what he transmits to the team, the experience he already has in these types of games… He’s a huge player for us.” “He has changed our dynamic, he has changed our beliefs, he has put the team in a different status, so it is great to have him back,” said Arteta.
