Christopher Masinza’s return to Kakamega Homeboyz barely a fortnight after the club released him in the ongoing February-March transfer window has got to be the transfer saga of the window.
He was released with players like; Elli Asieche, Meshack Muyonga, Simon Abuko, and Eugene Wethuli by new coach Patrick Odhiambo.
According to multiple sources, Masinza’s return to the club was due to the Management’s decision and not Patrick Odhiambo’s (Head Coach).
“It is a call made by the management; the coach didn’t have anything to do with it. He’s now back with the team and will be available for selection for the second league,” the source confided.
Christopher Masinza will be hoping to silence his critics in the second leg.
