Arsenal drew 2-2 with Crystal Palace in the Premier League at the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday evening.

Liverpool have now edged closer to winning the Premier League after Mikel Arteta’s side dropped points against Palace.Jakub Kiwior opened the scoring three minutes into the game after meeting Martin Ødegaard’s free kick. Palace responded well as Eddie Nketiah saw his header just sail wide off the post. Their pressure was rewarded when Eze levelled things for Palace from the edge of the penalty box. Leandro Trossard then scored the second for the home side just minutes before the halftime break.

In the second half, Sarr saw his effort well saved by David Raya, who impressed in goal. Dean Henderson, on the other hand, produced a brilliant save to deny Bukayo Saka’s effort after coming off the bench. Mateta then dispossessed Saliba from outside the box before lobbing the ball over Raya to level things for Palace.

Liverpool now lead the table with 79 points, while Arsenal have 67 points, but Liverpool have played one game less.
