Arsenal and Manchester City are set to face off in the Carabao Cup finals at Wembley.
The two sides will play on Sunday evening, having qualified for the finals last month. Manchester city eliminated Newcastle in the quarter finals while Arsenal elimunated Chelsea in the two legged semi finals.The two teams are also fighting against each other for the Premier League title this season with less than 10 games remaining for the season to conclude.
This will be the first major final for Arteta since the FA cup final back in 2020.Pep Guardiola will lead his team in the final in which he has won the trophy previously.Mikel Arteta’s side are the most in-form side going into the final, having beaten Bayern Leverkusen 2-0 in the second leg of the Champions League quarter-finals. Pep Guardiola’s side was eliminated in the same stage by Real Madrid after losing 2-1 in the second leg and 5-1 on aggregate.
Pep Guardiola insisted he knew Arteta will be a great coach since their days working together.He also said he needs his team to control the game well and attack them at their beest in order to win it.Arsenal defender Gabriel insisted that the team is ready to face off against the likes of Manchester City in big moments.
