Manchester United manager Erik Ten Hag says he is unsure if Marcus Rashford will play in Sunday’s Carabao Cup final.
Marcus Rashford was taken off in their Europa League win against Barcelona on Thursday and was pictured limping off as he was walking home from Old Trafford.
Marcus Rashford has already scored 24 goals in 37 appearances, along with dishing out 9 assists this season, and has been in fine form under Erik Ten Hag. In the Carabao Cup, Rashford has five goals and two assists to his name.
Speaking ahead of the Carabao Cup final, Erik Ten Hag said, “Players are now coming in. We have to do investigations, medical, of course, which we did yesterday.” So straight after a game, most of the time, you can’t say, “You have to wait for a 100% diagnosis.” So let’s do the medical, the work, we have to wait.” He said.
Manchester United will battle it out against Newcastle in the Carabao Cup final, as Newcastle will be without their two main goalkeepers due to suspension.
