Assistant referee Constantine Hatzidakis will not be involved in the upcoming EPL games, while the Football Association investigates an incident in which he appeared to elbow Liverpool defender Andy Robertson.

The assistant referee was seen clattering Liverpool’s full-back chin during halftime after he was approached.

PGMOL (Professional Game Match Officials Limited) said it would “review the matter in full”.

In a similar case, Fulham’s striker Aleksandar Mitrovic was slapped with an eight-match ban after he pushed referee Chris Kavanagh during an FA match against Manchester United.
