Bandari FC will host the surprise package of the 2022-23 FKF-PL season Nzoia Sugar at Mbaraki Sports Club, where they will be looking to redeem themselves after losing 1-0 to Tusker on Wednesday.
However, Bandari’s Head Coach Anthony Kimani knows well that beating Nzoia Sugar will not be a milking business.
“I know of the quality of players that they have; they are well covered in all positions. They have a good young squad that is so ambitious and fights to win games. They also have a good coach in Salim Babu, and we know that this will be far from a comfortable game. We played them in the first leg, and we know how good they are. We will prepare well for the game and be ready for the battle,” he said.
Bandari has not had a good first leg of the season and will be hoping to iron out their mistakes during matches to go up higher in the table.
“We need to be set right from the start and understand that the match can be won in the first or the 90th minute. The concentration lapses that we had are something that I thought was a thing of the past because we had suffered from them and conceded cheap goals. In the remaining few days before we play Nzoia, I will insist on us putting our best foot forward from the first to the last minute,” he added.
