Barcelona defeated PSG 3-2 in the first leg of the Champions League in France.
Xavi side Barcelona got the early lead through Raphinha after a wonderful ball by Lamine Yamal.Joao Cancelo had the chance to double the lead for Barcelona but saw his shot sail far away as Barcelona went leading 1-0 into halftime.
In the second half, PSG improved their game, and it was former Barcelona player Ousmane Dembele who scored the leveller with a wonderful strike. Just a minute later, PSG got the lead through Vitinha after a wonderful ball by Fabian Ruiz.
Barcelona then levelled through Raphinha after a wonderful pass by substitute Pedri just minutes after coming in. Another substitute, Andread Christensen, scored the third goal for Barcelona through a corner kick and ensured Xavi won the game.
Christensen spoke after full time in the win. “Maybe scoring a goal was birthday luck, but then I got carded and I won’t be able to play the second leg. That upsets me, but I’m trying to be happy.” He said.
