Bayern Munich have completed the signing of Eric Dier from Tottenham Hotspurs.
Eric Dier will leave Tottenham Hotspurs this season having fallen out of the pecking order under new manager Ange. He is set to join Bayern Munich, as the Bundesliga champions have already booked his medicals ahead of his unveiling.
Speaking on the signing, Bayern Manager Thomas Tuchel said he is excited about the signing: “He’s a specialist at center-back.” “We’re getting him for the centre-back position; he can play right or left centre-back as well as in back 3. He also used to play as #6 in the Premier League some years ago.” He said.
Spurs will receive a fee of around €4 million, and Dier will join his former teammate Harry Kane.
