Manchester City won 4-0 over Real Madrid in the return match to advance to the Champions League finals in Istanbul.

Erling Haaland’s header was wonderfully saved off the line by Thibaut Courtois early in the game. As the pressure from the city increased, Alaba then cleared another one from Haaland off the line. Eventually, Bernado Silva scored the game’s first goal after Kevin De Bruyne passed the ball into his path. After a corner kick, Toni Kroos hit the crossbar minutes later. Bernado Silva then scored the second goal of the evening, giving Manchester City a comfortable lead.

Following a Kevin De Bruyne free kick in the second half, Eduardo Miltao scored an own goal to kill any hope of a Real Madrid comeback. On a lackluster night, Real Madrid gave absolutely nothing. Julian Alvarez and fellow substitute Phil Foden expertly teamed up, and the Argentine then slid the ball past Courtois. To make it 4-0.

In Istanbul, the Champions League final will be between Manchester City and Inter Milan.
