Manchester United have suffered another blow as Harry Maguire has returned from international duty with England due to injury.

Harry Maguire started England’s friendly clash against Brazil on Saturday night at Wembley Stadium and also he skipped the Three Lions after skipper for the night Kyle Walker was forced off early on.

Maguire lasted for 67 minutes against the Selecao before he was replaced by Brighton’s Lewis Dunk.The FA confirmed on Sunday evening that Harry has sustained an injury, and he will not feature in Tuesday’s match against Belgium.

Maguire is now set to return to Manchester United training center Carrington where further assessment by United’s medical team will take place.

It remains to be seen whether Maguire will be available for United’s next match, against Brentford in the Premier League on Saturday evening.

This means that Manchester United Manchester United have only Raphael Varane and Victor Lindelof as senior centre-backs who currently look certain to be available for the next Premier League fixture, away at Brentford next Saturday.

As Maguire is now uncertain to be available, while Jonny Evans was not called into the Northern Ireland squad due to an ‘ongoing’ injury problem while Lisandro Martinez is still doubtful if he will be fit for the match.
