The Boston Celtics defeated the Miami Heat 116-99 on Tuesday and avoided a sweep.

With 33 points, 11 rebounds, 7 assists, 2 blocks, and a steal, Jayson Tatum led the way for Boston. Grant Williams scored 14 points while coming off the bench by connecting on 4-of-6 deep shots. Boston’s 3-point storm also included contributions from Al Horford (3-of-6), Derrick White (3-of-7), and Marcus Smart (3-of-9).

Miami was once again led by Jimmy Butler, who finished with 29 points, 9 rebounds, and 5 assists. He made nine of 21 field goal attempts. Caleb Martin, who came off the bench, maintained his impressive performance with 16 points on 6-of-9 shooting. Gabe Vincent scored 17 points on 5-of-10 shooting from the field.

Speaking after the game, Jaylen Brown insisted he could shoot the ball better. “I think I had some good shots that didn’t go in, but tomorrow’s next game is a new game. I feel like as we continue to build confidence, if we keep seeing the ball go through the net, I think we’re going to feel good about ourselves.” He said.

Game 5 will be played in Boston at the TD Garden, with the winner of the series having to play the Denver Nuggets.
