With a 2-0 victory over Ukraine, England opened their Euro 2024 qualification group with back-to-back victories. For Gareth Southgate’s team, Bukayo Saka stole the show by providing a beautiful pass for Harry Kane to score his 55th goal for England. The Three Lions established a firm edge over Group C after the first two games when Saka curled in a superb second to double the advantage.

Ukraine struggled to create chances, as Kylie Walker was able to contain Chelsea forward Mudyrk until he was substituted in the 61st minute.

Brentford forward Ivan Toney was also delighted as he was able to make his England debut against the Ukraine.
