FC Koln welcomes Bayern Munich as German Bundesliga resumes after the international break.The match will be played today from 2230hrs.

Bayern Munich will be aiming to climb to the top of the Bundesliga at least temporarily as they travel to FC Koln for a Friday night fixture.

The champions are still unbeaten this season and are driven by the prolific Harry Kane, should be too strong for their hosts.

It has been a difficult campaign for FC Koln, who have only picked up one Bundesliga win this season.

They have spent much of the season in the bottom three and appear to be set for a lengthy relegation battle this season.

However, they are unbeaten in their last two matches in front of their fans, claiming a 3-1 victory over Borussia Dortmund before the draw with Augsburg.

Bayern Munich have a 52-22 advantage with 25 draws from 99 previous matches against FC Koln.

The Bavarians were unbeaten in this fixture last season, playing out a 1-1 draw at home before picking up a 2-1 victory at the Rhein Energie Stadion Stadium.

FC Koln will be without Damion Downs Dejan Ljubicic,Florian Dietz, Jacob Christensen,Mark Uth, Noah Katterbach and Philipp Pentke while Bayern Munich will missTarek Buchmann, Jamal Musiala and Matthijs De Ligt.

Bayern Munich have had the better of FC Koln recently, winning the last three out of five meetings between these sides.

Bayern Munich will walk away with three points from Rhein Energie Stadion Stadium due to their current form.
