Wazito FC head Coach Charles Odera has admitted that his side lacks FKF-PL-suited players and this has hampered their ability to win league games.
The Muhuroni-based club lost a majority of its FKF-PL-suited players after they relocated to Muhoroni at the beginning of the season. The club was forced to turn to its youth players who have found the going hard till now.
“Premier League is a different level and requires quality players with experience for you to survive. In as much as we’re trying our best with what we have, the reality is we will have to beef up the squad.” He disclosed
With the mid-transfer window already open, Odera has disclosed that they are making strides to acquire fresh blood.
“We have identified some players that we’re in the process of recruiting. There’s still a lot to fight for in the league, and so if we get right in the transfer business, I’m sure the second leg will be much better. “
