Chelsea has reached an agreement with Dutch side AFC Ajax in order to sign defender Jorrel Hato.
The Dutch defender Jorrel Hato will now join Chelsea after the medical is done, and the fee is estimated to be in excess of €40m. Hato will sign a long-term deal at Chelsea, as he only wanted to join Chelsea this summer.The defender is versatile and can play both centre back and left back. This will come up as an back up to Marc Cucurella, who played most of the games last season. With the Champions League now in sight, Chelsea will have plenty of options to choose from.
In other news around the Premier League, Manchester United have renewed their interest in RB Leipzig forward Benjamin Šeško as they try to outbid Newcastle, who have already made contact. Alexander Isak is waiting for a move, as he has informed Newcastle he wants to leave the club. Liverpool are prepared for a record-breaking bid just in case Newcastle opens the doors for the sale of the star.
