Newcastle defeated Chelsea 4-1 on Saturday night at St. James Park in the Premier League.

Alexander Isak opened the scoring for Newcastle early in the game, but Raheem Sterling leveled the scoring for the visitors through a free kick.

In the second half,Jamaal Lascelles scored the second goal for the home side before Joelinton added another just a few minutes later. Reece James was sent off for Chelsea after being booked for the second time. Newcastle went on to score the fourth through Antony Gordon.

Speaking after the loss,Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino was not happy with his side. “But it was really easy in the way that we conceded and the way that we were so soft in every single challenge.That’s what makes me angry and disappointed. We talk about being a young team, and we have to learn, but I think these types of games make me very, very, very, very angry because it’s about showing your personality and character.” He said
