Manchester City and Liverpool played to a 1-1 draw at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday evening.
Erling Haaland opened the scoring for the city after a defensive mistake by Allison to give them the lead. Phil Foden was brilliantly denied by Allison, who ensured Liverpool were only one goal down.
In the second half,Liverpool improved their game and eventually got the leveller through Trent Alexander Arnold, who was set up by Mohammed Salah.
Speakingg after the game,Jurgen Klopp said they must improve “It looks like we’ve lost Ali with a muscle problem and Diogo Jota.”And that is massive. I don’t know how many games coming up now [until Boxing Day], maybe 15 [ten].”We have to get through this, we have to improve, we need to get more stable and in games like this, we should be more compact.” He said.
