Chelsea’s winning run in the Premier League was ended after a 1-1 draw with Nottingham Forest at Stamford Bridge.

In a first half largely dominated by Chelsea, Noni Madueke appeared to be wasteful in front of goal as he had the best chances of the first half.In the second half, Forest took an early lead through Chris Wood, who finished off a wonderful set piece. Noni Madueke scored the leveller for Chelsea 10 minutes later.

Joao Felix, Mykhailo Mudryk, Pedro Neto, and Christopher Nkunku came from Chelsea’s deep bench and were brought on to give the team a man advantage. However, Matz Sels turned away two of Palmer’s opportunities, and Felix missed a header in stoppage time.

Two significant efforts were spared in the final moments. Sanchez stopped Williams’ curling attempt for the visitors, and Sels stopped Nkunku’s diving header at close range on the opposite end.

Chelsea will face off against Liverpool after international break, as Fofana and Cucurella will miss the trip to Anfield after being booked.
