West Ham defeated Manchester United 1-0 on Sunday night at the London Stadium.
Manchester United is currently in danger of missing out on the top four after losing back-to-back games. David De Gea made a costly error by allowing Benrahama’s effort to slip past him in the first half, which allowed West Ham to score the crucial goal. United, on the other side, had scoring opportunities, but Fabianski defended well to stop Marcus Rashford.
West Ham scored a second goal in the second half, but it was disallowed due to a foul on De Gea. West Ham managed to hold on despite United’s efforts to draw, even as Antony Martial’s shot was well stopped by Fabianski.
Manchester United, after the loss, are still in fourth place with 63 points after 34 games played and are just one point above Liverpool, who have played one more game.
West Ham are now safe from relegation after gaining 37 points from 35 games played.
