The Phoenix Suns defeated the San Antonio Spurs 131-106 on Sunday morning in the NBA.
The Suns were led by star forward Devin Booker, who scored 32 points in 30 minutes on 14/24 field goal attempts while knocking in three 3-pointers. Kevin Durant scored 25 points on 12-16 shooting, while Nurkic had 6 points and 10 rebounds.
For the Spurs, Johnson led the scoring with 14 points in 24 minutes off the bench, while Wembanyama scored 13 points and had five rebound in the home loss.
Speaking after resting the entire fourth quarter, Devin Book said it was nice to get some rest. “It’s always a plus, especially at this point in the season, to get our rest and, more importantly, play the right way to put us in that situation.” He said.
