Chelsea defeated Brighton 3-2 at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League.

Enzo Fernandez scored his first goal for Chelsea in the Premier League with a header to open the scoring. Levi Colwill also scored his first goal for Chelsea as he doubled Chelsea’s advantage. Brighton pulled one back through Buonanotte. Conor Gallagher received a red card just minutes before halftime.

In the second half, Chelsea were awarded a penalty kick when Mudyrk was fouled by Milner.Enzo Fernandez scored his second goal of the game from the penalty. Joao Pedro scored for Brighton late in the game to make it a nervy ending. Levi Colwill appeared to have handled the ball, and the referee awarded a penalty kick. After the VAR review, the referee waved off the penalty kick as Chelsea came out victorious.
