Manchester City drew 3-3 with Tottenham Hotspur at the Etihad Stadium.

Spurs got an early lead through Son after a beautiful counter attack.City drew level immediately after Son scored an own goal. Phil Foden gave City the lead midway before halftime.

In the second half, Lo Celso drew spurs level with a beautiful curling effort. Jack Grealish gave City the third off the bench after a defensive mistake by Spurs. Dejan Kulusevski scored the leveller in the final minutes, as the game ended 3-3. City thought they had a chance to win after Grealish was sent through on goal, but the referee waved the advantage off.


Speaking on the incident, Pep Guardiola said he was surprised. “Next question. I will not make a Mikel Arteta comment. “Sometimes I lose my mind about the referees, but here, no. People can always make mistakes,” he said. “It surprised me for the fact that he went to whistle when Erling went down, but after he stood back up and made the pass, the referee made the gesture to play on.
