Arsenal defeated Wolves 2-1 at the Emirates Stadium to make it five consecutive wins in the Premier League.

The Mikel Arteta side started the game on the front foot as they scored the opening goal through Bukayo Saka, and Martin Odegaard added a second just minutes later to make it a dream start for the home side. The Wolves produced very little in the first half, as they went 2-0 down at halftime.

In the second half, Gabriel Jesus and Nketiah both hit the crossbar as Wolves managed to pull a goal back through Cunha, but it was too late as Arsenal managed to win the game.

Speaking after the game, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta insisted they would keep improving. “Improvements and consistency: when you play every three days, it’s very, very tough to do what we’ve done in the week, and we have to maintain that. There are certainties that we constantly do in games; the outcome is going to be really positive for us, and the team has to rely on that, and the rest is coming.” He said.
