Equity Bank Volleyball Club delivered a determined performance in the preliminary phase of Pool B, securing a place in the knockout stage despite a mixed run of results.

The Kenyan side registered two important victories, both by 3–1 margins. They opened strongly against AS INJS of Côte d’Ivoire, showing dominance in attack and defense. A second win over Cameroon Sports further boosted their chances, with consistent set control proving decisive.

However, the campaign was not without challenges. Equity suffered three losses, including a tough four-set defeat to Sport-S Volleyball Club. They were also outplayed by tournament favorites Al Ahly Sporting Club in straight sets, highlighting the gap in experience at the top level. Another setback came against Kepler Volleyball Club, despite a spirited effort in one of the sets.

In the final Pool B standings, Equity finished 4th with 2 wins and 3 losses, behind Al Ahly, Kepler VC, and Sport-S.

Despite the inconsistency, their resilience paid off, as they qualified for the knockout phase, keeping their hopes alive in the competition.
