Manchester manager Erik Ten Hag has said he is unsure of Jadon Sancho’s return to the team.
During the Premier League game against Arsenal last week,Sancho was dropped from the matchday squad. After the game, Ten Hag said Sancho was not training in the required shape and level expected at United.
Sancho went on to release a public statement, saying he believes there have been other reasons as to why he is not being used and that he has been used as a scapegoat. Manchester United have now suspended Sancho pending internal discipline and will not be involved for an extended period.
Speaking before the Brighton game, Ten Hag said he is unsure if Sancho will play for United again. “I don’t know,” Ten Hag responded when asked if Sancho would play for Manchester United again. “I am sitting here. [On Saturday] we have a big game; we are going into a new block of games, many games in a condensed program. I focus on that,” he said.
