Kenya Police is in a no-brainer mood after sources close to the club have revealed that the law enforcers are on the verge of signing Harambee Stars and Tusker FC goalie Patrick Matasi, hours after pulling off the transfer of the window by signing Derrick Otanga.
The sources further revealed that a breakthrough had been struck between the two clubs. The signing is imminent.
“It’s close. Unlike at the start of the season, Tusker is willing to let him leave. There are just some fair conditions that have to be met before the deal can be concluded,” the source provided the exclusive news
Matasi currently has one year left in his contract and Police FC is reportedly offering KSH. 200, 000 for the experienced goalie. Matasi is set to replace the seasoned Bonphas Munyasa who exited the club in the ongoing transfer window.
