FKF-PL outfit Kenya Police has pulled what is undoubtedly the “transfer of the window” after they beat Gor Mahia to the signing of the 2021-22 FKF-PL golden boot winner Derrick Otanga.
Gor Mahia had already reached a verbal agreement with the player, but the mysterious law enforcers club found a way to entice the prolific goal-scorer in the dying moments.
“It is a done deal; Otanga is a Kenya Police FC player. An agreement was reached yesterday, and he has now signed his contract. He will be available for selection after our midweek match against Kariobangi Sharks,” a source close to Mozzart Sport revealed.
Derrick Otanga was the sought-after forward in the ongoing FKF-PL transfer window. He was a free agent after he cut ties a month ago with the Libyan club Al-Ittihad Misurata.
