Former Harambee Stars head coach Adel Amrouche says he would like to complete the project he started with the Kenya national team in the future.
Amrouche 55, secured Tanzania a heroic 0-0 draw away in Algeria on September 7 to become the only East African side to qualify after finishing behind the Desert Foxes with eight points.
Speaking exclusively to Radio Jambo while on a visit to Kenya, Amrouche said his main task is assembling the best squad that will fly the Tanzanian flag in Ivory Coast between January 14 and-February 11 next year.
“I love Kenya because it’s like my second home. I am a good ambassador to the country and given another chance, I would never say no to coaching Harambee Stars. I never finished my project,” said Amrouche.
The experienced tactician who will lead Taifa Stars to their third Afcon tournament in history, where they are still searching for a maiden victory.
