After being kicked out of CAF Champions League due to arrears owed to three former foreign players, FKF Premier League champions Gor Mahia’s club chairman Ambrose Rachier while speaking on Radio 47 on Sunday said that the club will no longer sign foreign players.

“It looks like many of the foreign based players we have been signing only come here to cause us problems and take money without giving us value.

We have had a discussion as the top leadership of the club and for now, we are not going to sign any foreign players.” He said.

This comes out after Gor Mahia missed out on 54 teams that will participate in CAF Champions League 2023/2024 preliminary stage.
