Gor Mahia has climbed to the top of the Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKFPL) table leapfrogging Posta Rangers after beating Kariobangi Sharks.

Alpha Onyango opened the score for Kongalo with a thunderbolt from outside the 18 yards area to give the hosts the lead before halftime.

Panchol Ghai drew the slam boys level with a powerful header with eight minutes remaining before final whistle into the back of the net.

However, the defending champions scored In the 90th minute through Benson Omala after second-half substitute Lawrence Juma sprinted from the wing, unleashing a right-footed shot past Ouru which Benson Omala finished to secure a 2-1 victory for Gor Mahia.
