The Golden Boy Award for 2023 went to Jude Bellingham, the superstar from Real Madrid who is regarded as the world’s best young player.
The midfielder for England, who is only 21 years old, is regarded as the best talent in the world. The former midfield player for Borussia Dortmund, who moved to Real Madrid last summer, has been in excellent form this year. In his first 15 games, he has already scored 17 goals.
Speaking after receiving the award, Bellingham was grateful for the people he met along the way. “I can’t be more grateful to all the people I have met along the way to help get me to the point I am at now. It’s about trying to make my team and country the best teams in the world, and to be the best player in the world, you have to help your teams win, and to join that list is such a big honour.” He said.
