Tyreese Haliburton hit the game winner in the final seconds of the game in what was the only lead of the Indiana Pacers the whole game. He scored just 14 points in the win on 6 of 13 shooting together with 10 rebounds and 6 assists. Pascal Siakam had 19 points on 7 of 15 shooting and 10 rebounds. Obi Toppin had a big game off the bench as he scored 17 points on 6 of 9 shooting and knocked down 5 three-pointers.
The OKC saw the game slip through their hands after leading most of the game. Shai led the team in scoring with a game-high 38 points on 14 of 30 shooting and 7 free throws. Jaylen Williams scored 17 points on 6 of 19 shooting as he struggled to shoot the ball. Dort scored 15 points on 5 of 10 shooting and 5 three-pointers.
Game 2 will be played at OKC on Monday morning.
