Barcelona defender Jules Kounde has dismissed rumours that he is unhappy at the club and wants to leave.

Reports surfaced on Tuesday that the defender was dissatisfied at Camp Nou because he was playing right back instead of his natural position of center back.
Despite having already signed three center-backs this season, they said Kounde would look to transfer this summer, with Chelsea possibly prepared to rekindle their interest in him and Manchester United also willing to land him.

Barcelona manager Xavi admitted on Tuesday that he had held positive talks with the French defender and that the talks remained private. The defender has had a successful debut year with the French giants, winning the La Liga.

The French center back took to Twitter to dismiss the rumors: “To make it clear: at no time did I ask to go out, so I’m not going anywhere.” He tweeted.
