Manchester United’s crushing 4-1 victory against Chelsea on Thursday guaranteed them a spot in the Champions League for next season.

In the first half, goals from Casemiro put the home side in the lead, while Anthony Martial doubled their lead before half time.Chelswa had plenty of chances to score, but they could not manage to score as Gallagher, Havertz, and Hall all missed their chances.

In the second half, Bruno Fernandes scored from the penalty spot, while Marcus Rashford scored his 30th goal of the season across all competitions after a mistake by Wesley Fofana. Chelsea’s substitute, Joao Felix, managed to score, but it was too late, as Lampard’s team went on to suffer defeat.

The win meant that United will play in the Champions League next season, as Liverpool slightly missed on the champions league.Chelsea will hope another miserable season will be over soon as they are languishing on the second page of the premier league table.
