Kakamega Homeboyz has qualified into the ongoing Mozzart Bet Cup quarter-finals after historically winning 1-0 against the 2021 FKF Cup holders Gor Mahia.
The western based club has joined Kariobangi Sharks, Ulinzi Stars, Tusker FC, and Sofapaka as the teams that have already secured their slots in the quarter-finals.
Despite the win, Homeboyz are lackluster in the league having only won one game out of the last eight. They sit 11th having bagged 26 points.
