Kabras RFC are the 2023 Kenya Cup winners after they fought hard to thump their arch-rivals KCB RFC 19-9 at Kakamega Showground.
This was the fourteenth time the two heavyweights were meeting, and it was anticipated by Rugby Pundits as the game of the decade. Both sides were coming into the finals after an emphatic Kenya Cup regular season.
Boasting the hosting rights for the fifth time courtesy of topping the Kenya Cup regular season, the sugar men were on a mission to defend the title they won last edition after thumping Menengai Oilers. This title was the third for Kabras- they also won in 2016 and 2022.
