Junior Stars wonderkid Aldrine Kibet is said to be on the radar of Spanish champions Real Madrid. Kibet is currently the top scorer at the Cecafa under-18 Championship that is ongoing in Kisumu and Kakamega with 3 goals and 2 assists.
Junior Stars managed to reach the Cecafa under-18 Championship finals yesterday after edging out Tanzania in post match penalities after barren draw in normal time and extra-time.
Aldrine Kibet has been in Spain’s Nastic Soccer Academy ever since being named the Most Valuable Player for his performances at the 2023 National Secondary School Games held in Kakamega back in August playing for St. Anthony’s Boys, Kitale.
After securing qualification to the finals, Kibet expressed his gratitude to the fans, and also appreciated the coaches, and agents from Spain who were in attendance to follow his development on his x account.
Aldrine Kibet’s journey to Spain was made possible through a football scholarship, a well-deserved reward for his outstanding performance that helped his school secure the national title.
